If you do not like any of the items you have ordered in the Breuninger online shop, if they do not fit or if you are not happy with them for any other reason, you can exercise your statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our returns policy and return products within 30 days. The return period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the last of the goods ordered.
To meet the timeframe for returns, ensure you post your return on time. Further explanations and information on the right of cancellation, our returns policy and the conditions and consequences thereof can be found in the cancelation policy and the general terms and conditions.
For reasons of health or hygiene, sealed delivered goods cannot be returned if the seal has been removed or damaged. These include:
- Underwear, with intact hygiene seal
- Swimwear, with intact hygiene seal
A hygiene seal is an adhesive strip placed on the gusset of underwear as well as swimwear. It is possible to try on these items as usual without removing the seal.
If there has been a deterioration in the quality of returned items – for example, due to soiling, damage or missing labels – we reserve the right to refuse to accept returns and, if necessary, to claim compensation for lost value within the scope of the statutory provisions.
This does not apply if the deterioration in quality is exclusively due to ordinary inspection of the item (e.g. like you would when trying on an item in a Breuninger store). We therefore recommend that items you wish to return be used exclusively for such inspection.
