Why did I receive a security code via email?

The security code is part of our two-factor authentication, an extra layer of protection for your Breuninger account.

If we detect a login from a new device, we’ll send you a security code via email. To complete your login, just enter the code within 1 hour. After that, you’ll be able to access your account as usual.

Having Trouble Logging In?
Here are a few things to check:

  • Multiple Email Addresses?
    Your account may have different email addresses saved: one for logging in and another for notifications (such as order confirmations). The security code will be sent to the notification email if these addresses are different, so please check all your inboxes.
  • Code Expired?
    The security code is valid for 1 hour. If it has expired, you’ll see a message on the login page. Don’t worry, you can request a new code.
  • Multiple Codes?
    If you’ve received several security codes, make sure to use the most recent one.
